In order to put building tables in InDesign to practice, our class was tasked with creating a tour poster. In 2023, the Champaign, IL emo band BRAID announced a 25th Anniversary Mini Tour for their 1998 album Frame & Canvas. The original idea was to showcase BRAID by mirroring the album cover and showcasing their fellow Polyvinyl bands that would support them on the tour.

The band’s promo photo and the album cover at the top matches the style of the iconic album cover with the layout leading the
eye down to the supporting bands and QR code to buy tickets. After receiving feedback, textural elements were added to the background to both add interest and spotlight the tour dates
and venues.
