REI Co-op is a consumer co-operative that focuses on equipping people with everything they need to live more life outside. Their mission is to help everyone discover the love for the outdoors that REI and its 24 million members have shared for nearly 100 years.

The assignment for this advertisement was to create a realistic-looking photo composite of a fantastical situation inspired by a popular idiom (i.e. “adventure is calling”). Stock imagery of a payphone was weathered and blended to match the texture and lighting of the rock face to make it look as though that payphone has been there for decades.
