Polyvinyl Record Co is an independent label founded in 1996 and headquartered in Champaign, IL. The company started as a self-published fanzine focusing on album reviews and documenting the growing Midwest underground music scene. Today, their catalog features over 400 releases from more than 100 artists.

Another exercise in page layout, students were asked to build a newsletter mailer. In the spirit of Polyvinyl’s beginnings, I set out to create a newsletter that would highlight upcoming releases, events, and tour dates. I built parent pages for the cover, “New Release Spotlight”, and back page leaving the final interior page to be flexible for advertising/current events.
